How to setup non-recurring and recurring renewal email reminders for customers

Non-recurring

To turn on emails for non-recurring subscribers, simply navigate to Leaky Paywall -> Settings -> Emails and scroll to Renewal Reminder Email (for non-recurring subscribers)

Enter the message you'd like to send to non-recurring subscribers along with when you'd like to send.

You can also customize the message with template tags.

Recurring

To turn on payment reminders for recurring subscribers, you will need to this at the gateway level. For this documentation, we'll focus on Stripe.

Login to your Stripe account and go to Settings -> Subscriptions and Emails -> and toggle on "Send emails about upcoming renewals".

You can also change the Upcoming renewal events to your preferred number of days.

Select the eye icon to preview email and customize further.
