Setting up a high converting subscription funnel/flow

This flow/messaging works very well for growing your email list and converting paid subscriptions. It lets the casual visitor read 1 article, register for a decond article, and requires payment on trying to access your 3rd article.

This gets high quality readers into your newsletter. Your newsletter drives readers back to your articles triggering the upgrade message much more frequently which improves conversions.

Here's what your subscription flow might look like

1, Set the meter to 1 free article per 30 days. Then set up your free registration this way:

2. On the second article view use the Quick Register in the Subscription message to require email+password. Send the reader to your newsletter software with the 'free' tag/segment:
