How to set up A/B testing with Leaky Paywall

There are 2 ways to setup A/B testing with Leaky Paywall:

1. Create an ad zone with our Ad Dropper extension with multiple subscription messages
2. Filter your subscription messaging based on post categories Ex: /sports category displays a sports related subscription message

1. The easiest way to set up A/B testing for the subscription nag (message reader gets in article when they run out of articles) is to use our Ad Dropper.

Simply create an ad zone in Ad Dropper and create 2 or more different subscription promotions for the ad zone.

Add the Ad Dropper short code into the  Subscribe or Login Message and Upgrade Message fields in Leaky Paywall: Leaky Paywall Settings > Subscription message.

2.  To adjust the nag message by category, you can use the following code example as a starting point.  Just replace the category name with the one on your site.
