Use a free registration wall to grow your audience and paid subscriptions

In order to: 

1. build your audience (email list) 
2. and convert paid subscribers, casual visitors need to be nurtured.

Here's how it works:

Visitors come from search or social, read an article or two, and then are prompted to register for free. This lets them read 1 or a few more articles (per month or one time) and get your free newsletter.

Over time, your free newsletter drives those new free registered readers back to your content, using up their free articles. This ensures they see the Leaky Paywall upgrade message over and over which increases their chances of subscribing. 

This is the nurtured subscription funnel.
